BREAKING NEWS: INEC Declares Osun Governorship Election Inconclusive

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared Osun State Governorship election inconclusive as reported on current even news articles.

From the results announced so far by INEC, the two main contenders, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are running neck-at-neck.

According to the Returning Officer, the number of canceled votes is higher than the margin between the two leading parties.

The Returning Officer has said there will be need for second ballot to decide winner for the election.

PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke scored 254,698 votes while his APC counterpart, Gboyega Oyetola scored 254,345 votes making the marging between them amount to 353.

The margin was, however, less than the 3,498 votes that were cancelled during the poll.
